Marian Prince was born in North Vancouver BC, Canada. Starting her family at a young age, she married and had two children by 18. Her husband moved her to the deserted end of Lasqueti Island, often leaving her stranded during long tug boat trips. She had to learn to hunt and garden, to feed her young family. As life moved on, she remarried having two more children. No longer an urgent necessity, she continued to garden on the sunshine coast to supply healthy organic produce for her growing family. She went on to earn a horticultural certificate in 1990 after moving to the interior of BC. She has years of experience in growing and preserving and is honored to share this information with you so that you too can provide the best produce for you and yours.
