Danielle grew up in the small town of Williamston in North Carolina. She am the youngest of six children. Her parents always gave them what they could and raised her to be independent and to appreciate what she had. Her neighborhood was filled with her relatives and people who felt like family. The old saying "it takes a village to raise a child" literally applied to her up bringing. Her & her siblings spent a lot of time with their grandparents who lived only two houses down from them. They told them stories as they sat outside under the trees because it was too hot inside. They do believe that their grandfather may have embellished his stories at times but they were great to hear. She think that's were my storytelling began. Her & her siblings had the best of times growing up. They weren't in the big city so they made up endless games with their friends to keep them entertained. Looking back now, those were some of the best times of her life. As they all got older, they started leaving the nest one by one. Still being somewhat of a baby, she didn't want to venture too far from home, then she decided to attend college and earned her BS in Biology from Elizabeth City State University. She wanted to work in the field of science and have every since graduating. She work in the laboratory, testing and making critical analysis's. However, She always had a fondness for writing and have always been encouraged to chase anything that she’s passionate about.
