Miki Berenyi is a songwriter and musician known for her work in the rock music industry since the late 1980s. Born and raised in London, she started a music fanzine with future bandmate Emma Anderson while attending Queen’s College, which later inspired her to join a band. Miki would later co-found the Britpop band Lush in 1987, and help produce several bestselling albums while touring around the world. After Lush ended in 1998, she went on to songwrite and provide vocals to various projects over the years, with Fingers Crossed being her debut book. When not in London with their children, Miki and her husband perform in their band Piroshka with their fellow rock stars.
