I was born in 1966, the same year that the world met Captain James T. Kirk and the rest of the crew of that wonderful interstellar ship that was the Enterprise.
My fascination with space was fueled for years: the Apollo missions to the moon, the Flash Gordon books, series like Star Trek, Space 1999 or V, and of course, that fantastic universe created by George Lucas in the Star Wars movies.
That admiration for the grandeur of the cosmos was taking shape in an imaginary universe, a different universe, dangerous and implacable, but also full of life.
...And it was time to share it. As Mister Spock would say “Live long and prosper”.
