Zahra Derikvandi has lived in London since 2013. Before that she lived in various countries around the world as a stage actress, theatre playwright, and artist. This is her first published children’s book, having taken inspiration from an injured mouse she found in her garden. All of the illustrations have been drawn by Zahra.
