Thus, he earned her big interest in India during the British presence. India-Pakistan is much of the background for The Hidden City. Barbara's education ranges from chemistry to radio and television appearance and production. She has a performance background in music, stage, and speaking to civic groups. Books of all kinds she has recorded for the local library and for the blind. Her art knowledge has come from serving as a docent for her city's art museum.
