By the tender age of ten, when the cruel Zoran taskmasters attacked the Sari temple, not only did Joshua find himself responsible for his two younger siblings but also something otherworldly. He found himself gifted with a level of responsibility beyond his tender years to understand.

After the transport that he and his wife have taken is attacked, he has to make a heart-wrenching decision – to either watch his wife die in the flames that are threatening to consume them both or to save her life by sending her away.
