Amy R. Carpenter is the owner and founder of the Be Strong, Be Wise safety education program. A psychotherapist, former youth worker, writer and life coach, Amy brings twenty-five years of experience to her new book Be Strong, Be Wise in the Age of #MeToo. She has two previously written books, Glen Stone, a middle-grade novel and Channel-Crossing, a parenting book. Her articles have appeared in PsychCentral, the Asana International Yoga Journal, and 3HO.org, where she’s a contributing blogger. Amy lives in Rockport, Maine, with her husband and daughter.
