Snežana Pisarić Milić I was born in 1964 in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 1987 I have lived and worked as an economist in Sombor, Serbia. I appeared on the Serbian literary scene in 2008 when I got the first award for the best first-written book. The first book, a novel, was titled “Deceptive game of the light.” My second novel was titled “Sky dance.” It can be seen as a continuation of the first novel but also as a standalone novel. These two novels are translated into the Croatian language. After I published two novels, I was accepted into the Society of writers of Vojvodina. My third book is a romanced biography of the Canadian actor Lazar Rockwood, who originates from Sombor. It is titled “LAZAR from the bowery to Hollywood” For this biography, publishing house Arte pronounced me the writer of the year among sixty-nine authors. The fourth book is a collection of tails and short stories, which have been awarded and published in anthologies, newspapers, magazines, and websites. In 2016, I was accepted to the Serbian Association of Writers. One of the well-known Serbian writers, the originator of the modern psychological short story, Laza Lazarevic, died young, leaving uncompleted manuscripts for several short stories. As a winner of the first competition for completing the first uncompleted short story, Autopsy, I spent years learning his style, reading his letters, and searching for biographic data.
