Tidal Waves

Written in memory of my father, who passed away from cancer. The poems carry one along the journey of loss, love and hope through the passage of nostalgia. Like a child trying to trap light I hold your memories in my hands When I breathe out to blow life into them You whisper: “Put them in your heart instead.”
