Animals can’t talk but in this book one little puppy can, and through her we find that although she starts life in awful conditions at a puppy farm, she eventually finds love and affection from a lovely family. She forms a strong relationship with the family’s existing dog that takes her under his wing and teaches her many things. She also develops a very strong bond with the youngest daughter of the family, and between them they share many adventures. Although her story has some sad moments, this little puppy’s tale has a very happy ending. It’s a delightful little story that may be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
