Carole May Brownjohn has always been a storyteller. She kept her fellow students entertained with her tales when she was in primary school. After many years, when she became a teacher, Carole told her stories for many years to school children in Canberra’s primary schools and the children loved them. Upon retirement, she started writing her stories down and found out that Austin Macauley Publishers liked them. This is how the Lulu and Skeeter books were born. Now Carole is writing other stories as well, and her latest creation is The Boy and his Sailboat.
