Children love adventures, especially ones that they can share with a friend. That friend can be another child or even an animal. Perhaps a dog, a cat or even an orangutan. But what are the chances of meeting an orangutan while you are out in the park with your mummy? Well you just never know, do you? Here is a gentle, humorous little story of a young boy called James meeting a lost and lonely orangutan.
Inspired by her grandchildren, this is the author’s first attempt at a children’s book. She has previously written poetry and short stories. The illustrations in this book are also by the author, drawing and painting being another pastime that she enjoys a great deal, when not working full time in the care industry to which she has dedicated half of her life.
