A misanthropic scientist by the name of Dr Ethan Barrett is straying into uncharted territory of the human brain. His drastic measures will take him to the brink of death. Compelled by his theory he traverses the limits of morality to uncover more about the human condition. A threat emerges along the way which he must overcome in order to achieve what he believes is the ultimate goal of humanity. Journey with Dr Barrett as he encounters various characters each with their own agenda. Dr Barrett must manipulate his opposers to adhere to his grand plan which will affect future generations ad infinitum. Dr Barrett will discover the power of a theory and how its application to reality can change the course of human history. He has the sole power to determine his fate, the fate of his people and which asylum he will walk in.

Gordon Shand

Gordon Shand had an unremarkable and sheltered upbringing in the countryside. At school, he had a rebellious period playing the class clown until slowly reaching maturity, where he enrolled and studied at a university. Graduating with an honour’s degree in philosophy, he opted for a career completely unrelated to the skills he had acquired previously – the whisky industry. One decisive winter, with the deterioration of his mental health, he conceived of the very tales that are to follow.
