Of Stones and Smiles
Written in poetic prose, although it features poems with different themes, in this first poem collection, the author shows us, from different perspectives, how our life is full of stones that do not exist, but we insist on seeing and of smiles that we do not see, but that are there whenever we want to access them. Must we only open our eyes? You will find out inside the book.
Besides, among stones and smiles, the author also takes us through situations where two are always one, because in love, one cannot be two.
In this way, he makes us aware of the intangible, the only thing that can lead us to plenitude. It’s because of this that we are can walk through worlds that are made from some verses that can only be written by the soul.
In fact, that’s how it has been.

I am passionate about writing. For me, writing is a great pleasure, although I have been doing it regularly since the end of 2019. Before, I was less constant. I published Of Stones and Smiles between 2022 and 2023. Subsequently I published my second book, The invisible thread.
Besides, I have published some pieces in RRSS, as well as through literary contests.
I received an honorary mention at the International Contest J. Bernavil in December of 2021.
I won the poetry contest at the XI Book Fair in Parla in 2023.
I was part of the poetry collection Voices in the Wind in January 2023.
“Before the start of the fateful 2020, I decided to put on paper all those things inside me and that I had been thinking about for a while. Near the end of 2019, poetry began exhausting my chaos and I started to defragment restless souls and hearts. And the intangible became tangible to the eyes of one who wants to see. And piled-up stones that said, you can’t go further than here, now can fit inside a pocket. And there is space left. At that time, I left a pair of fake wings that just weighed me down at home. What you see is what I am.”
Professionally, I am a telecom engineer with a specialty in sound and image. I am currently working in noise control and acoustics.
