Music Murder

The year is 1968, the UK is undergoing a cultural transformation, class differences are being set aside, people are being confronted with changing values and new opinions, while all the time still trying to recognise new roles and opportunities within an emerging media dominated society. A death occurs during a party, it might have been accidental, it might have been murder, no one knows the facts or why it happened. What slowly became clear is that no one at the party had been safe. It is up to five people from very different backgrounds to start working together, to find out what really happened and why.

James Tully

After 45 years of mundane employment, James Tully retired and took a holiday he had denied himself for many years. Upon travelling on a cruise ship which brought him to the Arctic Circle, he watched the blue sea pass before him and wrote the first draft of his first novel. He then spent six months rewriting the effort of those two weeks, mostly for the purpose of correcting spelling and punctuation.
