Terasa Gipson


Terasa Gipson has earned a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in library science from the University of New York at Buffalo, and a Public Librarian’s Professional Certificate from the University of the State of New York Education Department.


Ms. Gipson is a librarian and an adjunct professor at SUNY Buffalo State University.


She has been published in Library Journal, Family Circle, Buffalo News, ArtsWestchester Magazine, and ArtVoice. Moreover, she wrote a monthly online column for the International Institute of Buffalo – Refugee Resettlement Program highlighting host families.


She currently lives in Western New York with her husband.


In the Wake of Things is her first book.
