Strangled

We’re taught from a young age to ‘think before we speak’. But has anyone ever dissected what this truly means? It’s a scary thing, is it not? We’re eagerly taught from a young age to use our words and build our own narrative but how often is this actually possible? What do you think will come first – our words being voiced or our words being silenced? The following words are nothing special, but that’s the thing. They don’t have to be. They’re mine!
