You Die When You Die, West of West

The acclaimed fantasy author debuts a new epic adventure series—a “raw, violent, and gritty” tale that “blurs the lines between hero and villain” (Booklist).

You can't change your fate, so throw yourself into battle. You'll either win the day, or wake up drinking mead in the halls of your ancestors. That's what Finn's people believe.

But Finn wants to live. When his settlement is massacred by a hostile nation, Finn joins a band of friends and rivals who must make their escape across a brutal, unfamiliar landscape. To survive, Finn and company must cross a continent of vicious animals, monsters, and assassins—and fulfill an ancient prophecy.
