Join Norah and Joni as they educate children on body safety by demonstrating what it means to Use Your W.I.T.S! Norah learns how to take ownership of her body, identifying moments where she feels safe. Using an easy-to-learn strategy, she shows howshe can set boundaries and respond to instances where she feels unsafe and in instances where she simply does not want to be touched. Norgenta is a trainee Clinical Psychologist in the National Health Service and is also a doctorate student studying Clinical Psychology. She previously qualified as an IDVA-independent domestic violence advocate -and is a member of the Awareness and Response to Domestic and Sexual Abuse (ARDSA) network, where she actively works to shape policy and practice within the NHS. After achieving a master’s degree in Psychological Sciences (Msc), she went on to publish her first book: Use Your W.I.T.S! with Austin Macauley Publishers who stated it was the most important book they reviewed in 2020. She describes this book as a guide that can be used for both adults and children, helping to navigate discussions on the important issues of body safety, consent and boundaries.
