It is being said that Crete has a new writer to follow in the footsteps of Nikos Kazantzakis (Zorba the Greek.) Antony Sulayman has become one of the country’s adopted sons. Of Dutch/English origin, he is the author of a trilogy of Dystopian novels, ‘The Zodiac Assassins’, ‘Belzoni’s Children: Awakening of the Great Fallen Angel’ and ‘Day of the Dinosaurs.’ All are published by Austin Macauley Publishers. Having left Cambridge, he trained as a speech and language therapist for Learning Disabled and Autistic adults. Under the auspices of Britain’s Health Service, he toured the largest ever group of L.D actors in the country to inform and educate the general public about the difficulties faced by those with the condition. When the service was moved into the private sector, he re-located to Greece to focus on his other love, that of writing. His novels are deeply personal and enriched by his previous career and a fascination with Greek history. (See FACEBOOK)
