Lydia Ola Taiwo

Dr Lydia Taiwo is a married woman with six children. She has worked as a Clinical Consultant within Pathology for many years. As a child she suffered from emotional, psychological and physical abuse and part of her recovery from complex PTSD included creative writing. She started writing memoirs of her own childhood and how she was able to find healing in her recovery. This can be read in her book A Broken Childhood:How To Recover From Abuse: A Recovery Guide. After further equine therapy to help with her PTSD,  she found a safe haven, writing short stories for children which helped with her recovery. These stories bring out key lessons and skills to help with empowerment, resilience and confidence building in children.
