She’ll do anything to keep Eva safe. But just as they begin to settle into their new life in North Wales, Eva disappears.
Forced to return to Sicily and face a dangerous crime ring to secure her daughter’s return, Hanna finds herself in a race against time, even as she confronts the truth about her husband’s murky business dealings and their horrific consequences.
But will she be able to rescue Eva and escape the clutches of some very dangerous people? Hanna knows one thing: she’s prepared to die trying . . .

“A gripping tale.” —Jo Fenton
Karen Moore discovered a love of writing after many years spent on the road travelling throughout Europe, North America, and Canada as a tour guide. Tired of living out of a suitcase, she moved on to pursue a career in PR and marketing, working in sectors as diverse as travel, finance, and health.
Italy and all things Italian remain a constant source of inspiration for her writing, as does her fascination with the darker side of human nature and how ordinary people react to challenging situations.
Her first two novels, Torn and Release, are tales of intrigue and betrayal set in Sicily and North Wales. Both are Amazon bestsellers. A third novel is on the way.
Karen has lived in Italy and France and is currently based in Cheshire, England.
