Shafiq had spent his life living a comfortable and prosperous life in London. He loved family life, was popular and busy. He felt fulfilled and content, although unknown to his family life had not always been easy. Two things would totally change his life, meeting Tasneem and an incident in his hospital office. Would he ever recover from this?
Rosemin Najmudin was born in Kamuli, Uganda, as was her father, and her three siblings. Her mum and eldest sister were born in Palitana, Gujerat, India. She has spent her life working in sustainable community development, health, teaching and lecturing. She published mainly in academia but also wrote children’s stories and several short stories and chapters from recollection of her childhood. Many of her works have a focus on racism, faith, equality, gender and diversity as well as love and family. Today she mainly works as a volunteer, and does some freelance work on global issues, health, diversity and sustainable environmental issues. She is now based in London, having travelled, lived and worked extensively throughout the world.
