Bobby got his start in the restaurant business at McDonald's where he spent seventeen years, starting his career in the kitchen and working his way up to a successful multi-unit leader, before joining Chipotle as an Area Manager. He held various roles in the organization before taking the role of Executive Regional Director in 2008 for the South Region, where he was responsible for 228 restaurants, including opening many new restaurants across 11 states, launching six new markets, and leading the company in many key indicators of performance over the decade he spent with Chipotle.Since then, Bobby has held a number of senior level executive roles and operates his own restaurant consulting practice through which he teaches leadership development and how to build a great organization by creating strong organizational cultures. Bobby is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and spends time with leaders helping them learn how to leverage their talents into strengths.Bobby writes extensively about leadership development on his blog, LinkedIn, and for various restaurant industry trade publications.
