Go East

The Sweedies are an average modern family with their share of quirks. They face life with humour and cherish family time, especially with the Grannies. A trip to Spain brings mishaps – Sally Sweedie, mother to Jen and Ted, misplaces her phone while dealing with treacherous weather. Back home in Southend for Christmas, two new arrivals join the Sweedies. Howard, father of the household, feels restless and buys a motorcycle, much to his wife’s chagrin. Fast forward to 2033 and the fortune teller proves accurate – the Sweedies are thriving as always. Now, seven-year-old Flora joins the clan.

Talitha George

Talitha George was born a true Cockney, in St. Barts, London. She spent the first six years of her life living in Richmond, Greater London. Talitha does not remember much about it, but the sausage rolls from the local bakery were good and there was a great toy shop. London taxis, the underground, the parks, it was not a bad introduction to the world. Hampshire has been her home since then and she can honestly say that it is a tidy, civilised county where people go about their daily business with pride. Having been a keen student at school, Talitha was not so enthralled by her studies at sixth form college. However, she did go on to learn Italian, enough to get by in that department and studied various areas, such as theatre, media and fashion, makeup, computers, and travel and tourism. Never having gone down the career route, she has worked as a waitress, a chambermaid, a stable hand, a cleaner and in a playgroup. Talitha has a keen interest in making crafts, and four lively dogs, with whom she shares her home along with her partner.
