Born in a small mining village in Fife, Scotland, the author, now a widower has two daughters and four grandkids, who are the inspiration for many of his stories. After a life of working for mining companies in various parts of the world, he retired with his wife to Spain in 2007. After the death of his wife Linda, he then moved to Australia to be closer to his Daughters. He has always dabbled with poems for the kids, and thanks to their nagging he has now published two.
