Debbie grew up in Bristol and then spent five years training to be a veterinary surgeon at Glasgow University. After qualifying in 1985, Debbie settled in Coventry, West Midlands, where she worked full time as a vet, married and raised a family. Debbie worked as a veterinary surgeon for 35 years, retiring in 2021 and moving to Cornwall. Debbie enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding and walking her dogs. This is Debbie’s first book.
