Rachel Kempster Barry is the author of The Happy Book, This Book Is About You, and several other titles about creativity, kindness, and being a helpful human. She grew up on Long Island, worked at Book Revue in Huntington, and loved visiting the Old Bethpage Village Restoration (she didn't see any ghosts on her visits, but she did love the candy in the General Store!). She lives in Madison, NJ, with her husband and cats.
