Howard Joseph Cohn is a retired New York City teacher of more than thirty-three years. He served on the board of directors of the Bergen County Museum of Art and Science and on the executive board of trustees of the New Jersey State Museum. He was the president of the New Jersey Paleontological Society and the Beth Tikvah Jewish Center in New Milford, New Jersey.
