Change can be frightening, especially when it is our bodies changing from the effects of illness. Explaining these changes and helping children navigate the feelings and questions to which they give rise, can be daunting for adults. This book models for parents and all concerned caregivers’ appropriate language, as well as how to understand the ways in which children interpret, and sometimes misinterpret, information.
